Medaco Medical Aesthetics’s Dr Emma Swan has been named by South-East Advertiser and Southern Star readers as southside Brisbane’s top cosmetic injector.
Her Brisbane injectables business has been going from strength to strength ever since she started it up three years ago with her friends Aisling Waters and Leona Gallagher.
“It’s really humbling that we got voted the best,” she said.
“We decided to band together as a company a few years ago and just wanted to do injectables to make clients feel good about themselves. That’s our main ethos.
“I think there’s a lot of injectables out there that give things like lips a bad rap, but I think if they’re done well, they can look really good.”
Dr Swan said their Edward St business had bounced back well after the brunt of the coronavirus, and they were now looking to expand to the Gold Coast.
“The pandemic was tough, I think everyone had a rough time, but we’ve come through together and come out the other side,” she said.
“Business is booming at the moment, which is great. We have our clients to thank for that.
“They trust us. They come back to us.
“We try and make a point of difference without business to show we’re not a chain.
“We personally care about the clients, we get to know them, and we want them to trust us.
“We’re also here to guide them. If someone comes through and says they want their crow’s-feet done, and I say you don’t need your crow’s-feet done because you really don’t have any wrinkles there. I want to establish that relationship and for them to trust me.
“We’re not out to be just another clinic making money.
“If someone comes through, we want the best for them and the best value for them.”
