A bayside man has been seen making a dash from court after he and 11 people were charged after a 12-month police operation uncovered distribution of cocaine, meth, heroine and restricted drugs.

Operation Tango Eel targeted the distribution of cocaine and methamphetamines from a number of properties and vehicles searched across the region.

Redlands police officers seized 1.1kg of cocaine, 1.1kg of methamphetamine, 263g of MDMA, $22,166 in cash and a 2017 BMW M4 as part of the operation.

Detectives from Bayside Criminal Investigation Branch charged nine people for 52 offences as part of the operation.

Wellington Point resident, Reagan Gaine Freeman, 48, was one of the 12 people charged.

Mr Freeman appeared in Cleveland Magistrates Court on Thursday, February 23, on three charges of trafficking in dangerous drugs, possessing large quantities of heroin, cocaine and methamphetamines and breaching bail conditions.

The court heard Mr Freeman was allegedly caught trafficking large quantities of drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin between August 1 and August 11 last year.

Mr Freeman was previously granted Supreme Court Bail.

Magistrate Deborah Vasta reinstated Mr Freeman’s bail on the condition that he report to police and abide by a curfew.

Mr Freeman was seen dashing from court after his mention.
