AN ALLEGED serial pest on Redlands roads has been nabbed by police, more than a month after the first reports rolled in about his apparent careless driving.

Capalaba police charged the 28-year-old Wellington Point man following a series of traffic offences between May and early June.

Police allege that over the past two months he was seen dangerously riding a dirt bike on public roads and parkland throughout the bayside area.

The motorcycle has since been seized and the alleged rider charged with two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, one count of driving without due care and attention, four counts of driving an unregistered vehicle, four counts of driving an uninsured vehicle, four counts of driving whilst unlicensed and one count of failing to provide particulars at a traffic crash.

The man is due to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on June 25.

Police sent out a warning today saying they were now on the lookout for two other riders believed to also be responsible for a string of other similar offences in the same area, especially around Capalaba.

They are appealing to members of the community for information including the identity of those riders.
