Police are searching for a man in relation to a spate of break-ins in bayside suburbs just east of Brisbane, where thousands of dollars worth of property was stolen.
Images of the man police believe could assist in their investigations into six property offences in the Redlands suburbs of Alexandra Hills, Birkdale and Thornlands last November.
The investigations come after two men allegedly broke into a convenience story around 3.30am on Bluebell St, Alexandra Hills on November 28 before taking off with thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes.
The pair then left in a vehicle, which was allegedly stolen from Chermside on November 21.
Earlier that morning around 2.30am, the offenders have attempted to break in to a store on Outlook Ave, Thornlands but were unable to gain entry.
The vehicle was captured on CCTV around 1.20am that morning, leaving a petrol station on Bailey Rd, Birkdale without attempting to pay.
The stolen vehicle was found later on Sunday abandoned on Lachlan St, Birkdale.
The man from the images is described as caucasian with a slim build, short dark hair and with a tattoo on the back of his left calf.
Anyone who recognises him or has information should contact police.
