The court heard a search was conducted by police on August 10 at Mr Davies’ home at Gregory Ct in Cleveland where police found amounts of ecstasy, oxycodone and restricted drugs including, pregabalin, Quetiapine.

“During that search police located a blister pack of oxycodone containing two tablets,” police prosecutor Sergeant Collins said.

“They also located a clip-seal bag containing 0.1g of a crystal substance, MDMA.

“Also located were 25 pink pills, being MDMA.

“He (Mr Davies) stated to police that those were pre-workout tablets.

“He stated he had obtained them from a family member or friend.”

Magistrate Deborah Vasta said she hoped facing the justice system would stop Mr Davies‘ involvement in drugs.

“I’m hoping that the police on your doorstep executing a search warrant will really stop you in your tracks,” Ms Vasta said.

“I’m keen for you to get some drug counselling.

“Oxycodone is a really addictive drug.”

Mr Davies was placed on a good behaviour bond for 12 months and ordered to participate in the Drug Addiction and Recovery Team Program (DART).
