Nudgee blasted over the top of reigning titleholders Ignatius Park to claim the mantle as the state’s top short form schoolboy cricket side.
Fielding three current first grade players, Nudgee needed just 10 overs to reel in the Ignatius Park Townsville total of 103.

Batting first, Ignatius Park had no answer to the swing of Noah McFadyen and Tom Balkin with the new ball.
After the early loss of a wicket, Jet Liebke 38 not out and Connor Carroll 27 blasted away as Nudgee chased down the target.
Liebke, who is currently gathering first grade experience with Sandgate-Redcliffe, was named man of the match.
MCFADYEN REUNITED WITH TOBY SNELL IN FIRST GRADE
Carroll is taylor made for T20 cricket and his quick fire 27 continued an excellent contribution to Nudgee this year after he produced several innings turning digs during the 100 over GPS competition in term one.
