A stunning Samford restaurant is set to grow, releasing plans for a huge new undercover dining area.
Popular venue Little Tree Bakery and Brew House, at 52 Main St in Samford Village, has submitted plans to Moreton Bay Regional Council to create two new outdoor dining spaces to compliment the several existing dining areas as well as improved ramp access.
A new deck area would connect with the restaurant’s existing indoor and terrace dining facilities while a lower deck would sit over part of the existing outdoor dining area.
Access ramps would connect the upper and lower decks and join the lower deck with the ground-level outdoor dining area.
According to the application, the improvements will provide diners — a mix of locals and day trippers to the idyllic village — with not only better undercover dining facilities but easier access.
“This will ensure that people with limited mobility, or parents with young children and with prams/strollers can easily access all parts of the site,” a report for the application said.
According to the report the improvements will not increase the overall number of seating at the extensive venue, which was transformed from an existing older building in the village’s main street, into the stylish venue it is today.
The architecturally designed development plans to retain the site’s natural surroundings including mature trees and an adjoining waterway.
“The deck structure has been designed to retain the existing mature trees as a feature of the area,” the report said.
