Dust off your pointed hats and straighten your vampire teeth, Halloween 2022 is upon us!
We’ve taken the hassle away by compiling a huge list of the spookiest homes in Greater Brisbane, offering everything from haunted houses, interactive displays, ghoulish decorations and the best houses for lollies and treats.
Thousands of southeast Queenslanders will be heading out over the weekend and Monday to enjoy the wicked and whimsical events, with hundred dolling up their homes in their finest cobwebs and getting ready to hand out treats to all the costumed kids on sugar highs.
With more than 200 locations accepting trick or treaters, the map showcases all locations from Beenleigh to Caboolture.
From the thousands of haunted and terrifying houses, a handful have been selected to show you some of the best SEQ has to offer.

Paddington Halloween
Kerry Forsythe has run Paddington Halloween for the past eight years, and this year’s haunted house has a gold coin donation on entry, with each donation going to ‘Precious Wings’, a charity supporting families who have lost children.
“The haunted house features themed rooms, animated props, actors and digital decorations with spooky lighting and sound effects and a little bit of fog for creepy vibes!”, Ms Forsythe said.
Haunted House is for five years and up with a smaller kids area on the front Veranda.
The haunted house will be open Monday the 31st between 5pm and 8pm

Topham Street, Bald Hills
Bald Hills’ Terror on Topham promises scary a plenty, with displays of special effects, jump scares and things to make your skin crawl.
“Scared of clowns? Spiders? Clown spiders? Then you definitely want to come for a walk through our maze,” Terror on Topham posted online.
“Our currency is screams.”
You can find them at Topham St in Bald Hills, open from dusk through from October 29 to 31.
“We close when the clowns are done with you.”
Nightmare on Blackton Street, Logan Central
Another spectacular display at Nightmare on Blackton St in Logan Central.
Let your fears guide you with a skeleton infested pirate ship and haunted house to keep you awake at night.
Nightmare on Blackton St is open from October 27 to 31.
They said they were “DYING to meet you”!
Crump St, Holland Park
Bubbles and squeaks? How about bubbles and shrieks? With this witches den you are bound to get a fright.
“The haunt is small, enclosed and intimate but. there will be live witches that are looking forward to inviting you into their lair to perform spells and give out treats amongst other things,” Ms Prue Ivers posted on Facebook.
A cauldron, spell books, potions, and a crystal ball are just a few things Ms Ivers has on display.
The Witches coven can be found on Crump Street in Holland Park.
Honeywood Drive, Fernvale
Fernvale’s display is giving others a run for their money.
You can find this incredible set up at Honeywood Street in Fernvale on October 31 from 4pm to 7pm.
With a fantastic Halloween pop up for all children young and old to enjoy.
Wynnum inaugural Halloween parade
After 30 years at Manly Wynnum will be holding its first Halloween Parade.
Ghouls, ghosts, witches and werewolves will make up some of the 5000 people taking to the suburb’s CBD from 4pm with food trucks, market stalls, street entertainment, best dressed competitions and the parade at 6pm.
The Wynnum Halloween Parade will start at 4pm and run until 9pm, Saturday, October 29.
