A dispute over parking between residents in a townhouse complex has seen a man fined after he kicked his neighbour’s door in.
Nathan Edmund Alan Duncan, 36, pleaded guilty at Pine Rivers Magistrates Court to wilful damage.
The court heard Duncan, his partner and another man and woman lived in the same townhouse complex and had previously got into arguments about parking.

When Duncan, a father of two, and his partner arrived home they found another car parked which stopped them from getting into their park.
Duncan and his partner started yelling at the other couple, telling them to move their vehicle.
The couples continued arguing until Duncan kicked at his neighbour’s door, breaking it and jamming it shut.
Duncan’s lawyer Shaun Kolo told the court his client had been “pissed off” and kicked the door after he believed racial slurs had been used towards his partner.
Mr Kolo said there are “ongoing” issues between the neighbours regarding parking in the townhouse complex.
Magistrate Trevor Morgan told Duncan is was “time to pull your head in”. He was fined $300, a conviction was not recorded.
