Woman cops big fine after taking away two toy cars worth less than $10
She hid the two toy cars, worth less than $10, in her pram and left without paying for them. Now she has to pay more than 10 times that in a fine.

Not paying for less than $10 worth of toys has cost a woman $150.
Zahlia Jannetje Jenkin, 19, pleaded guilty at Pine Rivers Magistrates Court to unauthorised taking away of goods.

The court heard on Tuesday, May 26, Jenkin was shopping with a pram at North Lakes and had multiple items including two Hot Wheels toy cars worth $8.
She placed the two toy cars in the pram and placed a baby bag over the top of them.
Jenkin then went through the checkout, paying for other items, but keeping the toys hidden in the pram.
When police spoke to Jenkin she made full admissions to taking the toys.
The court heard she had no criminal history.
She was fined $150. A conviction was not recorded.
