A magistrate has called a man’s excuse for cutting a massive hole in a wire fence and driving his car through it “laughable” and “nonsense”.
At about 1.15am on Wednesday, August 5 police were called to a Mango Hill address after a report that someone had cut a gap in the fence.

Police saw a white Mitsubishi had been driven through the fence and parked inside.
Luke David Gosling, 19, was sitting in the car with a pair of wire cutters, cannabis and a bong next to him.
Gosling pleaded guilty at Pine Rivers Magistrates Court to wilful damage, trespassing, possessing drugs and possessing drug utensils.
Gosling told police at the scene that he had cut the fence and driven his car though because he wanted to “chill out”.
But Magistrate Trevor Morgan said that reasoning was “nonsense”.
“Well that excuse is laughable,” he said.
“He is saying he left his home to chill out and took wire cutters with him?
“Those admissions to police are nonsense.”
Gosling was fined $500. A conviction was not recorded.
