The partner of a man killed in a crash, where his car burst into flames in Brisbane’s inner-north, says the world has become a “much darker place” after the death of the “most incredible human”.

A Fortitude Valley man has been remembered as the “most incredible human” by his partner following a tragic car crash, where his car collided with a pylon supporting the Gateway Motorway overpass.
Martin Donato, was killed in the single-vehicle crash at Kingsford Smith Dr at Eagle Farm around 3am on August 5.
The 62-year-old died at the scene.
His partner, Tracy Marshall, she he was the love of her life.
“We looked forward to and laughed about getting old and crotchety together,” she told Quest Newspapers.
“Life is incredibly cruel at times.”
Ms Marshall also posted an emotional tribute to Mr Donato after his death.
“This is Tracy posting on behalf of Martin, his beautiful family and myself,” she wrote.
“I’m so sorry to deliver this news via this forum but contacting non mutual friends is difficult.
“In the early hours of Friday morning Martin was involved in a single-car accident in Eagle Farm, Brisbane. Tragically he lost his life.
“He was the most incredible human being and so deeply loved by many.
“The world has become a much darker place.”
Her emotional tribute touched many.
“I’m still in disbelief. I will miss your conversation, friendship and advice Martin,” one friend said.
“Horrible news he was a dear friend and all round top bloke,” another person wrote.
Investigations are continuing.
