A father who breached his bail 14 times told a court it was because he was on anxiety medication.
Adam Keith Ellis pleaded guilty at the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court to 14 charges of breaching bail.
The court heard Ellis, who has an eight-year-old son, had repeatedly not reported to a police station as he was required to do under the conditions of his bail.

He told the court he was on anxiety medication which was why he failed to check in with police.
Acting Magistrate Deborah Turner said Ellis being on medication was “not an excuse” for failing to comply with the conditions that kept him out of prison.
Ms Turner said Ellis had “extensive” criminal history and knew how the criminal justice and bail system worked.
“I hope your plans involve becoming a positive role model for your eight year old son,” she said.
Ellis was fined $1400.
