A 14-year-old boy has been charged with sexually assaulting two women walking along busy Stafford Rd in Brisbane’s inner north.
North Brisbane detectives alleged that on November 13 and on January 17 two women aged 19 and 20 were separately assaulted while walking alone along Stafford Rd in Stafford.
Both alleged incidents occurred between 7.15pm and 7.35pm.
They were allegedly grabbed by the boy but both managed to escape and alerted police.
Neither woman was injured but they were distressed.
The boy was given a Notice to Appear in the Brisbane Children’s Court on January 21.
Hendra Criminal Investigation Branch charged him with two counts of sexual assault and one of wilful exposure.
The investigation is ongoing. Detectives have appealed for anyone who was travelling along Stafford Rd between October, 2022 and January 21 this year, especially any woman walking alone in that period, to contact them if they saw or experienced anything suspicious.
