Stranger danger is front of mind for students of Aspley East State School after a white van was spotted following children on their commute to and from school.
A statement from school principal Majella Frith warned parents there had been several reports of a person, or persons, driving alongside students as they walked home.

“Can we please remind students of stranger danger, going directly home and how it is important to tell an adult immediately if something unusual happens,” Ms Frith said.
“The police have been informed.”
It is the second such warning issued for students of Aspley East since May 13, when the van was first sighted.
Parent Cindy King said it was “scary” news for the schooling community and wondered whether it was the same person.
Leisha Louise, who lives nearby with her family, said she worried about every white van she sees.
