An elderly man was left bleeding and injured after a violent road rage attack north of Brisbane, the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court heard today.
The 65-year-old victim was driving west on Anzac Ave, from Mango Hill towards Kallangur, when he accidentally pulled out in front of a silver BMW just after 1.30pm on January 15.

The Pine Rivers Magistrates Court heard how a community-led chase took down a north Brisbane thief
The driver of the BMW was 31-year-old Scott Anthony Borg, and he was furious.
Fuelled by methamphetamines, Borg pulled up behind the victim at the next set of traffic lights and stormed over to the driver’s side window with a silver shifter spanner.
The court heard Borg used the spanner to hit the window several times, causing a small chip in the glass.
The victim tried to get out of the car, but Borg grabbed the door handle and slammed it closed onto the victim’s arm, breaking the skin and drawing blood.
Borg then opened the door again to yell at the victim for cutting him off in traffic, before driving away.
The lawyer for the defence told the court Borg had been struggling with a methamphetamine addiction at the time, using the drug “a couple of times a day”, which caused him to act out of character.
The court heard Borg had since gone “cold-turkey” on drugs and was “completely rehabilitated”.
Borg pleaded guilty to one charge of assault. He was ordered to pay the victim $750 compensation in addition to a $700 fine.
No conviction was recorded.
