Sandstone Point Hotel: There will be food stalls, children’s rides, live music and more on the foreshore from noon and fireworks at 8.30pm for families and the big countdown to midnight. Tickets $5 adults and $2 for children (plus booking fee). Tickets will be available at the door if not sold out prior.

You can party in James Bond style at an adults-only 007-themed cocktail party from 7pm in the Pumicestone Room. Enjoy a cocktail on arrival, a grazing station, “walk ’n’ fork” menu, three-hour drinks package, photo booth, DJ and a private viewing deck to watch the midnight fireworks. Mon Komo Hotel: There are four amazing options to choose from at this venue.

Brennan Park, Bribie Island: Bring the family down to the foreshore for this event organised by the Bribie Island and District Community Appeal from 5pm. There will be market stalls, face painting, jumping castle, rock climbing wall and fireworks at 8.30pm. Alcohol-free event.
