The month-long Tastes of Moreton Bay is off and running, but don’t worry, there are plenty of events in September to sink your teeth into if you’ve been a bit slow off the mark.
The foodie extravaganza is celebrating the mouth-watering array of food produced in the region and the talented chefs who use it to create innovative and delicious cuisine.
Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism (MBRIT) has partnered with Moreton Bay Regional Council to create the program, which runs until September 23.

FIRST FRIDAY FEAST
What: Four-course lunch, using Millen Farm’s seasonal produce and crafted by head chef Rino
Where: Pause Restaurant, Samford

ROOFTOP COOKING CLASS
What: Join in a hands-on cooking class, with chef Michael Harris, and learn the tips and tricks of preparing a delicious seafood dish. Then, enjoy a meal and glass of wine

PICNIC AT PEMBERLEY
What: Enjoy an afternoon of nibbles, dancing, and games

FLOCK SPRING FEAST
What: A five-course menu, showcasing seasonal produce from local farms

BARBECUE COMPETITION
What: Barbecue and beer will be on show at the three-day Barbecue Competition in conjunction with the National Grilling Network
