Tradies face charges after separate drunken displays
A pair of tradies responsible for separate drunken displays on the streets of Burpengary, including a huge brawl and a public nuisance while almost five times the limit, have been sentenced by a Caboolture Magistrate.

A 28-year-old carpenter at the centre of a brawl outside a Moreton Bay pub has been sentenced in Caboolture Magistrates Court.
Jaxon William Raymond Granger was embroiled in an argument at the Burpengary Tavern late in the early hours September 20 which later turned physical when it was taken outside, the court heard.
The court heard police were called to a large altercation between a group of people outside the tavern, where Granger was caught throwing punches and swinging his arms around.
Granger pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour at the tavern and was fined $300 and had no conviction recorded.
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old plasterer mourning the loss of two family members also fronted court after a drunken public display.
The court heard Jackson Brian O’Keefe had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.225 per cent when he caused was seen by police swearing in the middle of a Burpengary road on September 2.
The court heard O’Keefe threatened police when they arrived.
“F*ck off c**** my dog will f*cking attack you,” O’Keefe told police.
He pleaded guilty to causing public nuisance and obstructed police in a public place while intoxicated and was ordered to serve 70 hours community service and had no conviction recorded.
