Police Prosecutor Sgt Bambrick told the court police were called to Bronzewing Crescent at Deception Bay at 10.30pm on October 3.
The court heard that when police arrived they found a car crashed into a parked car.
Witnesses told police Hanara, had tried to leave the scene after crashing, the court heard.
Sgt Bambrick said police reportedly smelled liquor on the defendant's breath, he said the offender was unsteady on his feet and was slurring his words.
Hanara’s Learner’s licence had been suspended after allegedly being caught drink driving on September 21.
The court heard Hanara told police he had drunk five Coronas before driving and he crashed because he didn’t have his headlights on.
Hanara recorded a breath alcohol concentration of 0.191 per cent.
Magistrate Stephen Courtney said it was lucky no one had been killed or injured.
“The reason these laws exist is because people like you place innocent peoples’ lives at risk,” Magistrate Courtney said.
Hanara was fined $1000 for driving under the influence and $260 for the unlicensed driving.
He was disqualified from driving for two-and-a-half years.
No conviction was recorded.
