Teen charged with serious assault of a police and four other offences
A 19-year-old girl, from north of Brisbane, is facing two counts of serious assault of a police officer. She could be dealt new under new COVID-19 laws and fined up to $13,000.

Chloe Mason, 19, of Zillmere, has been charged with a number of offences including two counts of serious assault of a police officer.
Mason’s matter was heard in Redcliffe Magistrates Court today.
She was arrested on May 6, 2020, and charged with two counts of a serious assault of a police officer, unlawful possession of a weapon, entering a premises with intent to commit an indictable offence and receiving tainted property.
The facts surrounding the arrest were not read out in court today.
Police Prosecutor Sergeant Clare did state the serious assault charges related to the defendant allegedly punching and spitting on a police officer.

The matter was adjourned to Caboolture Magistrates Court on May 22, where Mason is due to have other matters mentioned.
