Neighbours of a home that was raided by PSRT officers north of Brisbane have relived the shock of seeing police and the dog squad swarming across their street.

Public Safety Response Team officers executed a search warrant on Monday, May 27, at a Trilby St, Morayfield property just after 9am, as part of Operation Whiskey Legion.

Officers allegedly located a quantity of drugs, including cannabis and methylamphetamine, as well as utensils at the address.

Investigations are ongoing.

Detectives searched the house for a couple of hours and were seen leaving with large sealed bags.

One neighbour said he told his daughter to stay inside after armed officers demanded the occupants of the raided home come out with their hands up.

“They yelled ‘come out and put your hands out’,” they said.

“Police had their dogs here who did a search of the area and home.

“This street is normally really good.

“We’ve only ever had one other problem house.”

One neighbour said they heard the police over an intercom loudly say “residents, please vacate’’.

Another neighbour said police were in the street only days ago because of an alleged stolen car, which was towed away.

That incident was not connected to the house at which the raid took place.

They said there were often cars coming and going outside the raided home, often late at night.

“There’s at least eight people living there,” they said.

“The (PSRT) team went in and at least three people came out with police.

“I saw the sniffer dog go in and police come out with a small container. “
