Police urge anyone with information to come forward after multiple break-ins

Officers are appealing for public assistance after a spate of break-ins. SEE THE SUBURBS THIEVES ARE TARGETING

Police in the Moreton Bay region have been kept busy with a number of break-ins over the past few days.

Investigations are continuing into several unsolved incidents in Murrumba Downs, Kurwongbah, Caboolture and North Lakes.

Officers are urging anyone with information to contact them immediately.

A glass side door was smashed at a Murrumba Downs home on August 9.

Between 11.30am and 2.06am personal property was stolen from a house on Barrington Close.

Also on August 9, a Kurwongbah resident returned home to find they had been broken into.

The house on Pine Crest Drive was entered some time between 8am and 2.30pm.

The timber front door was damaged to gain entry with jewellery stolen from the residence.

In Caboolture, a Male Road resident woke to find the front and rear doors to their home wide open.

It’s unknown how the thief managed to enter the home with no signs of forced entry.

A handbag and wallet were stolen between 3am and 6am on August 10.

Also in Caboolture, a fuel card and a phone charger were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

The Kia Cerato vehicle was entered between 7.30pm on August 9 and 6.20am on August 10.

The car was parked in a common area of a unit complex on Smiths Road.

Tools, a water pressure washer, garden power tools, generators, light bar and tool boxes were stolen from a business in North Lakes.

It’s understood the premises at Torres Crescent was unlawfully entered at 2am on August 10.

A hole was cut in the perimeter fence and locks cut from two shipping containers.

Police are urging members of the public to get in contact if they know anything about the thefts.
