Police have reopened a major road in Narangba after a motorcycle crash this afternoon.
Burpengary Rd was closed in both directions near Boundary Rd after a man riding a motorcycle lost control and crashed into a tree.
According to police the motorcycle slammed into the tree while travelling at high velocity.
The crash was reported at 1.51pm today before critical care paramedics raced to the scene near Northside Pet Resort to assess the man.
The man has been taken to the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital with a significant shoulder injury
