Woman charged over fatal car crash

A 47-year-old Griffin woman has been charged with the manslaughter of a 66-year-old woman following a fatal car crash in December.
Police will allege that at about 6pm on December 11 last year, two cars were travelling along Wagner Rd, Griffin, when they collided head-on.
The driver of one car, a 66-year-old, Cashmere woman died at the scene.
A 47-year-old Griffin woman was extricated from the car and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Police from the Brisbane Forensic Crash Unit charged the woman with manslaughter this morning.
She was taken to Pine Rivers Watch-house and released on bail.
The woman is expected to appear in Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on February 15.
