The former Caboolture Police Station has been knocked down and will transformed into a new two-storey watch house by the middle of next year.
Caboolture Police relocated to a new facility which combines the station and Moreton District Headquarters, just a few kilometres up the road in August last year.
The new $13.7 million watch house will link directly to the neighbouring Caboolture Magistrates Court.
State Labor MP for Morayfield and Police Minister Mark Ryan said construction of the two-storey facility was ahead of schedule.

“This new state-of-the-art facility will be a win for local police,” Mr Ryan said.
“It will be home to office space for Prosecutors and other critical government services.
“Importantly, a Domestic and Family Violence Co-ordinator, alongside other critical domestic violence responders, will be operational from this facility.”
Mr Ryan said 45 jobs would be supported during construction.
“It’s fantastic to see this project going ahead and sustaining jobs in our community,” he said.
“With the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic being felt by workers across the state, infrastructure projects like this are supporting jobs.
“Now, more than ever, every local job counts.”
The project is expected to be completed by mid-2021.
