Motorbike rider in critical condition after crash with utility at Caboolture

Police are seeking witnesses to a crash involving a motorbike and utility that left a motorbike rider in a critical condition.

A motorbike rider has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.

A motorbike rider suffered serious injuries when his bike and a utility collided near the Caboolture Showgrounds at 2.15pm yesterday.

The 35-year-old male rider from Caboolture was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the Ford Ranger utility, a 40-year-old man from Petrie, and his 28-year-old male passenger from Warner, were not physically injured.

Forensic Crash Unit officers are asking anyone who may witnessed the crash, or who may have dashcam footage, to contact police.
