Man rushed to hospital after Keperra car, pedestrian crash

A male pedestrian has been hospitalised after being struck by a car on a busy road at Keperra on Friday morning.

Paramedics rushed to the aid of a pedestrian after he was struck by a car in Keperra in Brisbane’s west on Friday morning, May 3.

The male pedestrian was struck on the corner of Madsen St and busy Dawson Pde, a known danger spot, at 5.34pm.

There have been a number of serious incidents in the area in recent months, one involving a car and cyclist.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

his injuries could not be confirmed, as at time of publication.

Queensland Police said traffic was not affected and the scene was cleared within 30 minutes.
