A popular hotel chain is just weeks away from opening its new four-storey hotel, equipped with water views, a rooftop pool and more.
The Sebel Brisbane Margate Beach Hotel, located on the waterfront, just north of Brisbane, is expected to open by the end of the month.
Hotel developers Traders in Purple have partnered with AccorHotels.
The $15 million dollar development, located on the corner of Margate Parade and McCulloch Ave, features 58 studio rooms and suites as well as a rooftop pool, gymnasium, views over Moreton Bay and a ground level restaurant.
Peninsula locals Peter McIlwain and Gail Campbell have been appointed as the on-site general managers.
The duo held the same position for the Traders in Purple owned Waltzing Matilda hotel, which was located just up the road from the new development.
Waltzing Matilda has been demolished and will be turned into an apartment building.
The hotel is expected to open on May 28.
