Jessica Anne Shepherd in Redcliffe court for alleged Coles theft and assault

A Coles Express trip was eventful for a Moreton Bay woman who allegedly stole a list of food and assaulted somebody.

A court north of Brisbane has heard allegations that a Clontarf woman stole meat pies, flavoured milks and biscuits from Coles Express and then assaulted a person at the same place.

Jessica Anne Shepherd, 28, faced the Redcliffe Magistrates Court on April 17, charged with assaults occasioning bodily harm and stealing.

It’s alleged on February 14, 2023, Shepherd unlawfully assaulted a person on Thomas Street, Clontarf, between Hornibrook Esplanade and Hor Street.

On the same day and at the same address, it’s also alleged Shepherd stole two meat pies, four Big M’s and two packets of biscuits from Coles Express.

Shepherd’s lawyer Tayla Jozefowski told the court she had instructions to order a brief of evidence for Shepherd’s assaults occasioning bodily harm charge.

Magistrate Dean Wilkinson adjourned the matter until June 5, 2023 at the Redcliffe Magistrates Court.
