Police have released video of a service station armed robbery north of Brisbane and have called on the public to help identify the offenders.

Detectives from the Redcliffe Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) released CCTV of an armed robbery at a service station in Deception Bay on July 5.

Two men entered the business on Deception Bay Rd just before 9pm, one armed with a large knife, before threatening two staff members.

The armed man fled with cash, along with the other man who had been waiting outside.

The employees were not injured.

Both men were dressed in black clothing with their faces covered.

Anyone who recognised the men or who had any information was urged to contact police.
