House fire victim fined $15k after downward spiral
The victim of a house fire earlier this year has been slapped with more than $15,000 in fines after turning to crime after the devastating event, a court has heard.

The victim of a house fire has been slapped with more than $15,000 in fines after turning to crime after the devastating event, a court has heard.
The Morayfield home of Adam Anthony Ryan, 40, was destroyed by a blaze in January 2020 and man had since racked up a number of charges.
The ship crew member pleaded guilty to 13 different offences in Caboolture Magistrates Court.
Magistrate James Blanch heard the man’s life had taken a downward turn after the blaze.
The court heard he was caught with a knife and a mace, had evaded police and had also driven while methylamphetamine was in his system.
He pleaded guilty to all charges which also included unlicensed driving and was fined a total of $15,345.
He was also disqualified from driving for more than four years.
