It will be further alleged that when a 47-year-old Peachester woman went to confront him Mobbs drove over her repeatedly, causing significant injuries to her left leg and foot.

Mobbs, made an application for bail in Caboolture Court today.

Police prosecutor told the court it was understood Mobbs drove the car straight at the victim.

The court heard Mobbs had consumed ice on the morning of the alleged incident.

Mobbs was renting a shed at the property but had been evicted. The court heard Mobbs had sent threatening text messages to the victim following his eviction.

The police prosecutor told the court Mobbs drove the vehicle through the gates and started to do burnouts.

When the victim walked outside Mobbs deliberately drove straight towards her causing her to fall under the vehicle, reversed the car while victim was under the car and continued to reverse after noticing his car was stuck on something.

Police prosecutions alleged the car was stuck on the victim.

The police prosecutor said Mobbs had an extensive criminal history from NSW, including offences of assault and stalking and had previously been sentenced to terms of imprisonment.

Magistrate Hackett said the prosecution had a strong case but said something needed to be done to address his ice use while out on bail.

The matter was adjourned until April 21 for a continued bail application.

The injured woman was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and has since had surgery.
