D’Aguilar Highway closed after major truck crash, man trapped in vehicle
A man is in a critical condition after he was trapped inside his truck for more than an hour following a two-vehicle crash on a major highway north of Brisbane.

A man is fighting for his life after he was trapped inside his vehicle for more than an hour after two trucks collided on a major highway north of Brisbane.
Emergency services, including the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, paramedics and Queensland Police, eventually freed the man from his truck after the crash just after 1pm on the D’Aguilar Highway near Lord Lane at Moodlu.
He is now in a critical condition and has been transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
The other driver was not hurt.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was “entrapped and in a serious condition” after the collision.
Six ambulance crews, including high acuity response units, were on scene after being called at 1.10pm.
The D’Aguilar Highway is still closed at the site of the crash.
A QPS spokesman said motorists could expect major delays with the road to be closed for “several hours”.
The age of the two drivers are not yet known.
