A truck driver has managed to escape unscathed after his semi-trailer hauling live chickens crashed into a fence behind a Moreton Bay Bunnings complex.
The truck was reported to have crashed and landed over a wall at the Big Fish Bunnings complex on Pumicestone Rd around 11.45am.
It was left hanging over the wall when it came to rest.
“We don’t know the circumstances around how the collision occurred,” a Queensland Police spokesman said.
“The truck was carrying some chickens and it looks like there might be some aggravated chickens,” he said.
The truck driver managed to escape with no injuries.
James Boardman who arrived passed the chaos just after it happened said he had no idea how the truck got there.
“I would love to know what happened,” Mr Boardman said.
“I was coming off the highway northbound at Big Fish and seen this truck doing 5km/h tops in the car park with a huge line-up of cars behind him.”
The truck has since been removed.
