Caboolture’s best pizza revealed

A family run business with a flair for wood-fired pizzas has been dubbed the best pizzeria in Caboolture.

Caboolture residents have plenty of options when it comes to grabbing a pizza but only one could be crowned the winner in our search to find the best pizza in town.

When the votes were counted a relatively new pizzeria, that does not even have a restaurant, proved to be the most popular with residents – Deadwood Pizza.

Launching in May 2020, Deadwood Pizza is a family built, owned and operated wood-fired pizza van.

The distinctive van, run by Jason and Mandy Ferriday, sets up at the Wamuran Co-Op from Thursday to Sunday.

Deadwood Pizza’s menu includes classics such as pepperoni, ham and pineapple, meatlovers and supreme.

They also offer a vegetarian pizza and gluten free options.

The Ferriday’s goal was to “capture the atmosphere of the old west” and bring a rustic charm to their roadside locations.

Basil & Vine at Burpengary and Narangba Village Pizza were also popular pizzerias with residents.
