Colosimo broke into a home cat Caboolture River Road and searched through cabinets and drawers stealing two laptops, and a wallet with $50.

The common assault occurred on March 19 at a Caboolture South home.

Colosimo visited the home of his ex-partner at about 5am and started to kick the door repeatedly.

The victim, who had been asleep in the front room was woken by the noise.

Colosimo continued to kick the door with force – bending the door and causing it to hit the victim in the head – causing bleeding and a cut to his face.

Colosimo fled down the street yelling “I’ll f****ing burn your house down and burn your car”.

On April 8 Colosimo attempted to break into two homes at Constance Court Newport at about 2am via security screen door. He damaged the door but was not able to gain entry.

Colosimo’s offending continued on April 14 where he attempted to break into 12 different homes at Newport along Spinnaker Boulevard and Buccaneer St.

Court documents show Colosimo attempted to open front doors, sneak through side gates, climb through windows, climb on bins to scale walls and tried to smash through a glass door with an ornament.

Magistrate Mark Bucknall said the charges would have been more serious had the homeowners not had their homes secured so well.

The teen’s crime spree, spanning from March to April this year, came undone on April 15 when police spotted a stolen grey Mini doing multiple laps around the roundabout at Lotus Ave, Bellmere.

Police saw Colosimo walk away from the passenger side of the car. When searched he was found in possession of the keys.

Court documents reveal that Colosimo was slurring his words. He told police he had taken 10 Xanax with alcohol.

The teen was also found in possession of a clip seal bag of cannabis and other prescription drugs.

He was first taken to the Caboolture Hospital and later the Redcliffe watch house.

Magistrate Bucknall said Colosimo had no criminal record.

“There are 19 charges before and they are serious charges,” Magistrate Bucknall said.

“This is not isolated offending, it took place over a month.”

Magistrate Bucknall sentenced Colosimo to nine months imprisonment to be served by way of an Intensive Corrections Order.

Convictions were recorded.
