Caboolture retirement village clerk faces Brisbane court on fraud
A court has heard allegations of a Caboolture retirement village clerk’s alleged theft of a bank card while on the job and subsequent spending spree.

A court has heard allegations a Moreton Bay retirement village worker stole a bank card while working at the village before going on a spending spree.
Rachelle Erica Crane of Morayfield, appeared in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on May 9 charged with nine counts of fraud and one charge of stealing by clerks and servants.
Police allege Crane, while working as a clerk at the Sunnymeade Park Care Community in Caboolture, stole a visa debit card between February 3-6.
Police further allege Crane then, on nine occasions, dishonestly obtained Australian currency from the same person’s card at various addresses across Bellmere, Morayfield and Caboolture.
The addresses of the alleged frauds included; 84-86 Bellmere Rd, 182-190 Morayfield Rd, 99 Lear Jet Drive, 2/285 King St, 65-75 Bellmere Rd, 291 King St and 62 Morayfield Rd.
Court documents stated Crane was unemployed.
Magistrate James Blanch adjourned the matter until May 30 for further mention.
