Adam Troy Bargenquast, 49, charged with unlawful wounding over alleged Halloween evening stabbing

A Caboolture man is now behind bars after allegedly stabbing his housemate, who remains in hospital with wounds to his arm and leg, on Halloween evening.

Police from Caboolture were called to an incident around 5.30pm on McKean Street where the alleged victim, Daniel Gregory Warry, had stab wounds to his arm and leg.

Police will allege the two men lived together at a unit complex on the street and became engaged in an argument.

Adam Troy Bargenquast, 49, of Caboolture, then allegedly pulled out a knife following the dispute.

Bargenquast was charged with unlawful wounding and had his matter mentioned at Caboolture Magistrates Court this morning.

He was remanded in custody and had his charge adjourned to December 14, 2023.
