In an exciting announcement for Brisbane shoppers looking to save money on everyday essentials, The Reject Shop will be opening two new southeast Queensland outlets in June, adding to its portfolio of 380 stores across Australia.
The Reject Shop will host a grand opening for the new Park Ridge store on June 6 from 8.30am, at the corner of Mt Lindesay Hwy and Park Ridge Rd in Park Ridge.
The Reject Shop is also progressing the fit out of its other new store at Westfield North Lakes, opposite Woolworths. It is expected to open on June 27.
The new shops are set to provide dozens of jobs to local residents and will offer huge savings to everyday Park Ridge and North Lakes shoppers, with an extensive product range across big-name brands such as Cadbury, Tresemme, Pepsi, Omo, Finish, Scrub Daddy, and Schmackos.
The opening of the North Lakes store will also coincide with The Reject Shop’s launch of its new homewares line called Secret Garden.
Regional Manager Nick Barker said the store would play a critical role in supporting the local community in a time of significant cost of living pressures.
“We’re really looking forward to our new store assisting the local community in reducing their weekly shopping bill,” Mr Barker said.
“At The Reject Shop, shoppers will find a wide range of cleaning and household necessities, as well as our new pet range that has been a huge hit with pet owners and their furry friends.
“We are proud to offer various positions including full-time, part-time and casual roles at the new Park Ridge store.
“Our team of experts is committed to providing the community with advice on minimising household expenses, particularly during times of economic strain, through the convenient shopping experience at The Reject Shop.”
A Reject Shop spokesperson confirmed the North Lakes store would be similar in size and offering to its other 380-plus stores around the country.
“The Reject Shop is here to help all Australians save money every day,” they said.
“We have a broad offering at low prices with over 90 per cent of our products below $10.
“Unique and exciting products for all occasions, events and holidays from party to Halloween, Easter, Mother’s Day and Christmas.
“Plus, we have everything you need for any room of the house from storage, to kitchen to garden to hardware to toys – all at great prices.”
