A SENIOR officer from Logan has been transferred to another station amid claims of bullying and intimidation.

The officer has been reassigned to non-supervisory roles at another Brisbane station while the allegations are internally investigated.

No charges have been laid. He is the second senior officer to be removed from Logan District Police Station this year.

In March, Logan detective senior sergeant Scott Furlong was stood down from official duty after he was accused of sexually harassing female officers.

The detective is under investigation by Taskforce Juniper — a police unit established to crack down on sexual harassment and bullying inside the service.

Juniper was formed following an independent review into sex discrimination and sexual harassment within Victoria Police that was run by the Human Rights Commission.

A Queensland Police spokesman said it was formed after a number of independent reviews “identified issues with internal culture”.

So far, the taskforce has assisted with five investigations.
