The seven people, including a Rebels Motorcycle Club president and his six associates, charged after police raided a home south of Brisbane and uncovered stolen firearms, 13kg of drugs and a dismantled lab have been identified.
Ipswich CIB and Taskforce Maxima raided a Holloway Rd home at Chambers Flat, Logan, on September 16, where they allegedly found and seized 1kg of ice, 12kg of cannabis, seven firearms, a large range of ammunition and about $50,000 in counterfeit money.
Two stolen cars along with drugs and drug utensils were also found.
Victoria Point man Michael John De-La-Warr, who police will allege is the president of the Logan chapter of the Rebels OMCG, was charged with a string of offences including possessing and producing dangerous drugs and unlawful possession of weapons.
The 39-year-old appeared via videolink from the watch-house to apply for bail in the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.
Magistrate Joan White noted De-La-Warr was facing “serious offences”, but that these would take some time to come before the court.
Mr De-La-Warr was released on bail on several conditions, including that he reside at a nominated address in Crestmead, not leave Australia and not have any contact with his co-accused.
His matter was adjourned for a committal hearing on October 12 at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court.
Mr De-La-Warr’s alleged six associated include Katerina Mialkovsky, Jason Turner, Stephen Kakakios, Jeremy Egan.
Ms Mialkovsky, a Brisbane woman, was charged with possessing and producing methylamphetamine and cannabis, unlawful possession of weapons, possessing explosives, and receiving tainted firearm or ammunition property.
She will appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 12.
Bethania resident Mr Turner, 36, Mr Kakakios, 27, and Mr Egan, 38, were also arrested as part of the operation and have been charged with various drug trafficking, organised crime, weapon, and criminal offences.
Mr Turner and Mr Kakakios will appear at the Ipswich Magistrates Court on September 30 and September 27 respectively while Mr Egan will appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 27.
A 50-year-old Chambers Flat man identified as B Richard was charged as part of the raid and will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 12 while a 48-year-old Moores Pocket man identified as A Smith was also charged and is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on November 11.
