Police are investigating after a man was hit by car, allegedly driven by someone he knew, outside a Beaudesert home this morning.

A male pedestrian has been transported to Logan Hospital after someone he knew allegedly hit him with their car, in Beaudesert this morning.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the first emergency call was made at 9.41am.
Police confirmed a moving vehicle hit a pedestrian outside of a private residence on Edward St.
It is understood the driver and pedestrian were known to each other.
A QAS spokesman said the male pedestrian was transported to Logan Hospital in a stable condition, but with significant chest and back injuries.
A Beaudesert Police Officer said the road was currently blocked off.
Police officers and a Forensic Unit are on scene.
