Police arrest 14 people on drugs, identity theft charges
Fourteen people have been charged for drug and property offences, and identity theft, during sweeping raids across Logan yesterday. A stash of firearms were also seized during the police assault on the region’s criminal underbelly.

POLICE have charged 14 people after a huge bust in Logan yesterday.
Officers from the Browns Plains Crime Reduction Unit executed four search warrants on homes in Regents Park and Springwood yesterday.
Acting Senior Sergeant Nick Edwards said 14 people were arrested on a total of 40 charges for drug and property offences as well as identity theft.
He said police also allegedly found four firearms at one address.
He said some of those charged were allegedly linked to the manufacturing and distribution of illicit drugs.
He said the searches followed another series of raids conducted in the area three weeks ago and thanked community members for their help by providing information.
He said those charged will face court in the coming weeks.
