Names of four men, one women charged in $4.2 million Logan drug bust revealed

The names of five people arrested as part of a major Logan drug trafficking operation, where more than $4 million worth of drugs was seized, have been revealed.
They were charged with 34 offences and $4.2 million worth of dangerous drugs was seized by detectives from Logan Major and Organised Crime Squad.
Over a three-month period police seized about 3.5kg of methylamphetamine, 625g of cocaine and 19kg of cannabis as part of operation Victor Extort.
Samuel Matthew-Peter Sillence, 28, from Woodridge, has been charged with one count of trafficking in dangerous drugs, nine counts of supplying dangerous drugs, three counts of possessing dangerous drugs, two counts of possessing anything used in commission of crime and one count of unlawful supply of weapons.
Loganlea’s Richard Leslie Mullen, 28, was charged with six counts of supplying dangerous drugs and one count each of trafficking in dangerous drugs and unlawful supply of weapons.
Marsden’s Aleesha Kristy O’Sullivan, 26, was charged with one count each of trafficking dangerous drugs, receiving or possessing property obtained from trafficking dangerous drugs, possessing anything used in the commission of crime and two counts of supplying dangerous drugs.
All three were refused bail and appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 28.
Their matters will next be mentioned on November 15.
Woodridge man Charlie James Julian Ngatuakana, 28, was charged with possessing dangerous drugs and is expected to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 18.
Jake Brian Brown, 26, from Bellbird Park, was charged with contravening an order and possession of drug utensils.
He is expected to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on October 18.
Organised Crime Gangs Group Detective Superintendent Troy Pukallus said the arrests were a major blow to the illicit drug market in Logan and a significant outcome.
“We remain committed to disrupting serious and organised crime and ask the public to continue assisting us by providing any information regarding drug and firearms supply in their community,” he said.
