The man allegedly responsible for eight armed robberies across Redlands and Logan this month has fronted court.
Jason Shaun Baker, 28, appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday, charged with eight counts of armed robbery, possessing a weapon and possessing a dangerous drug.
Police allege the Woodridge resident entered a service station on Cambridge Drive and threatened a female employee with a knife in Alexandra Hills on Friday.
Mr Baker allegedly stole cash and cigarettes, before fleeing in a stolen vehicle.
Police say the female employee complied and was not harmed.
Mr Baker was arrested in a licensed premises in Eight Mile Plains on Friday night.
Police allege they found methamphetamine, a homemade firearm and stolen goods from the Alexandra Hills armed robbery.
Police allege Mr Baker was involved in other armed robberies of businesses in the Logan and South Brisbane districts over the past month.
Three armed robbery charges allegedly committed on March 22 were transferred to Holland Park Magistrates Court for mention on April 17.
Five other armed robbery charges were adjourned to Beenleigh Magistrates Court on April 17 after defence sought a brief of evidence.
Mr Baker did not apply for bail and remains in custody.
