Man charged after allegedly blowing almost three times the alcohol limit near Park Ridge State School

A JIMBOOMBA man is due to face court next month after he allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading almost three times more than the legal limit near a school yesterday.

POLICE have charged a Jimboomba man with drink driving after he allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading almost three times more than the legal limit.

Browns Plains police say they were carrying out random breath tests about 3.30pm yesterday when the 34-year-old returned a reading of 0.146 per cent near Park Ridge State School, on the Mount Lindesay Highway Service Rd at Park Ridge.
