A Logan teenager’s disgraceful behaviour while drunk and in possession of 15g cannabis has been revealed in court on Friday.

A young Logan roofer threw an epic drunken tantrum when pulled up by police for fleeing a domestic disturbance, subjecting the officers to a torrent of expletives and abuse before slamming the hand of one of them in a car door.

Boronia Heights man Isaac Caleb Milosavljevic, 19, pleaded guilty in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Friday to charges of assaulting and obstructing a police officer, and possessing a dangerous drug.

The court heard Milosavljevic’s meltdown occurred on December 22 last year about 5pm when police were called to a disturbance at a Boronia Heights address.

The defendant had decamped the scene, but police tracked him down a short time later nearby.

When he was advised he was detained for questioning in relation to the disturbance, Milosavljevic lost his cool, the court heard.

“F*** you, you f****** pig, don’t touch me c***,” he yelled at an officer.

“Do you think you’re cool because you have a blue suit? Come and see me when you take it off.”

When the defendant tried to flee the scene, he was thrown in the back of the police vehicle, still screaming expletives.

When an officer attempted to grab Milosavljevic’s bag to search it, the defendant slammed the door shut on his hand, causing “soft tissue damage and visible swelling,” the court heard.

The force of the door slamming also broke the officer’s watch.

The search of the bag ultimately revealed 15g of cannabis.

Defence lawyer Bruce Affleck told the court his client had drunk “quite a bit of alcohol” that day and had just had a fight with his father when police caught up with him.

“He was quite upset and frustrated,” Mr Affleck said.

“My client did apologise to the officer and offer to pay for the watch.”

Milosavljevic was fined $700 and ordered to pay $300 compensation for the watch.

No convictions were recorded.
