A GREENBANK man has been charged over the alleged hit and run incident that killed a 22-year-old motorcyclist three weeks ago.
Benjamin Baumann was tragically killed on June 15 when his bike collided with a white truck on Waterford-Tamborine Rd in Logan Village.
A single tail light of the truck was all that was found at the crash site, and police launched an investigation and called for the driver to come forward.
Today, police officers executed a search warrant at two addresses and arrested a 24-year-old Greenbank man.
The man has been charged with one count each of dangerous driving causing death, failing to remain at the scene of a crash and unlicensed driving.
He is scheduled to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Police have renewed their calls for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have relevant dashcam footage, to contact them.
