Festival goers have taken aim at music festival Spilt Milk labelling it ‘the worst festival ever’, with some attendees saying they could not find help for a girl found unconscious, face down in the mosh pit.

More than 35,000 people attended the Spilt Milk festival at Doug Jennings Park at The Spit, on the Gold Coast on Sunday, December 4.

The highly anticipated event featured headline acts local DJ Fisher and long-time electronic star Flume.

It was a rocky start with “safety concerns” blamed for a delay in opening the gates.

A group of festival attendees said they felt unsafe at the “poorly organised” festival.

“It’s the worst festival I’ve ever been to,” one of the punters said.

“The mosh was unsafe and you just couldn’t move.

“There weren’t enough toilets, buses, Ubers, cabs, water or food there.”

Another punter said what they experienced in the mosh was “shocking”.

“You just couldn’t get close to the stage at all there were too many people,” they said.

“They just sold too many tickets.

“At one point we looked over and saw a girl fully unconscious face down in the mosh and no one seemed to care they were all still pushing forwards.

“People were trying to call out for a medic to help but someone else ended up just dragging her out it was horrific.”

Online numerous comments have been left on the festivals’ social media accounts and countless Tik Toks have been circulating of punters sharing their experiences.

One festival goer even recounted witnessing disgraceful sexual activity in the mosh at the festival.

The Spilt Milk Facebook and Instagram pages were slammed by punters expressing their disdain.

“Worst fest I’ve been to,” someone wrote on Instagram.

“Can I just say that was the worst festival I have ever been to,” another agreed.

“Three hours later still walking home,” someone said.

“Most poorly organised festival I’ve ever been to,” a punter wrote.

“Could hear the side stage over the main stage … thousands of people having to walk an hour to get in due to no signage letting locals know a festival was on … creating traffic havoc.

“Having the smallest entry/exit point where you struggled to filter thousands of people through. You failed.”

“Felt really unsafe … worst feeling ever … way too many people there,” a punter added on Tik Tok.

“No phone reception either … get boosters next time.”

“What a s***show Spilt Milk … two hours waiting at the gate to get in, missed seeing bands, sound was cutting in and out and that disorganised bus queue to get out … what a joke,” a punter commented on Facebook.

Spilt Milk has declined to comment.
